Obituary for Thomas Jefferson "Tommy" Savage

Thomas Jefferson “Tommy” Savage age 68, of Fort Worth, Texas passed from this life into the arms of Jesus Friday, March 16, 2018 in a Fort Worth hospital.

Tommy was born November 8, 1949 in Atlanta, Texas to Jesse and Mae Savage. He graduated from Queen City High School in 1967. He entered the U. S. Air Force in August 1969 and retired in February 1997 with the rank of Chief Master Sargent. Upon retirement he was employed with Associated Air in Dallas, Texas until September 2017. Tommy loved the Lord, his family, his country and his pets. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughters, Sharon; step-son, Eddie Walker; brother, Mitchell; and a sister, Jeannette Farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Yvette “Blondie” Savage of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, David Savage and wife Cheryl of Atlanta, Texas; Sister-in-law, Sandi Savage of Atlanta, Texas; nephews, Stan Savage and son Sullivan of Texarkana, Arkansas, Mitchell Savage and sons, Mitchell and Dylan of Atlanta, Texas; nieces, Tiffany Savage and son Devon, Jessica Lorance and children, Jaxon and Jolie all of Texarkana, Texas and a host of other relatives, friends and co-workers.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Wilkey officiating.

Interment will be in Springdale Cemetery with Military Rites.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the ALS Foundation for Life, P. O. Box 96, Natick, MA 01760.
