Obituary for Freddie C. Brown

Freddie C. Brown age 74, of Atlanta, Texas went to be with Lord Saturday, October 21, 2017 in an Atlanta, Texas hospital.

Freddie was born December 3, 1942, in Miller County, Arkansas to Abner and Opal Brown. He was retired from Welch Gas; and was a member of West Side Baptist Church where he loved spending time helping in many capacities including Disaster Relief. He enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, camping and farming. He was an avid Texas sports fan and loved Arkansas Razorbacks and Atlanta Rabbits Football. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bertie Wunderlich and a brother, James “Buster” Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Brown of Atlanta, Texas; two sons, Tommy Brown and wife Jeanine of Atlanta, Texas, Timmy Brown of Atlanta, Texas; a daughter, Jessica Kimmey of Metairie, Louisiana; a sister, Betty Cutshall of Doddridge, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Matt Brown of Wake Village, Texas, Kay Lynn Brown of Texarkana, Texas, Jonathan Brown of Greenville, Texas, Bethany Keppel and husband Kyle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one great-grandchild, Maddie Paige Brown; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at West Side Baptist Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Jim Howard officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
