Jeanne Roberts, age 82, of Atlanta, Texas died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in a local adult care facility.

Jeanne was born July 24, 1929 to Clinton and Stella McDaniel. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta, Texas, retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad where she worked for 30 years. Jeanne also enjoyed playing the organ, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Stella McDaniel; a sister, Hazel Blount.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Roberts of Atlanta, Texas; one son, Mike Roberts and wife Carolyn of Heath, Texas; two Grandchildren, Brad Roberts and wife Sarah of Brooklyn, Connecticut, Kelli Daughtry and husband Brandon of Fate, Texas; three Great Grandchildren, Nathan Roberts, Michael Roberts, Savannah Roberts all of Brooklyn, Connecticut.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 15, 2012 at Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Wes Chambers officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery, Atlanta, Texas under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
