Francis Marion Kennedy, age 80, of Atlanta, Texas died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in a local adult care facility.

Francis was born April 27, 1932 in Cass County, Texas to Roy Sr. and Jessie Lou Kennedy. He was a member of the Atlanta Church of Christ and was a very accomplished artist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Kennedy, Sr and Jessie Lou Kennedy; a brother, Charles Kennedy.

He is survived by two brothers; Roy Kennedy Jr. of Atlanta, Texas, John M. Kennedy and wife JoJo of Lufkin, Texas; a niece, Connie Masters and husband Gil of Lufkin, Texas, and a number of other relatives and friends.

A private service was held at Smyrna Cemetery, Cass County, Texas.
