Arthur Dudley (A.D.) Wright, age 80, of Kildare, Texas, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in Atlanta, Texas.

A.D. was born January 23, 1932 in Cass County, Texas. He lived in the Kildare, Texas area all his life and retired from the Texas Forest Service. He was a farmer and rancher and enjoyed being outdoors hunting, trapping and fishing. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Wommack Wright; father and mother, James Arthur Wright and Gladys Melton Wright; a brother, James "Corky" Wright; and a sister, Corrie Frances Wright Washington.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Woodroof Wright of Atlanta, Texas; one nephew; three nieces; great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephew as well as other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 8, 2012 at Kildare Cemetery, Kildare, Texas, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Rev. J. W. Crow officiating.
