Obituary for Thelma Bryant

Thelma Bryant, age 92, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 27, 2017, at her residence.

Thelma was born April 28, 1925, in Fulton, Arkansas, to John and Cora Atkerson. She was retired from Tenneco and a member of Springdale Baptist Church. She loved playing 42, Bingo, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, Roy E. Bryant; son, Bruce Bryant; and grandson, Scott Craig.

She is survived by a daughter; Shirley Craig and husband Art of Queen City, Texas; brother, Charles Atkerson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two sisters, Johnnie Rowe and Pat Rose both of Longview, Texas; three grandchildren, Tammy Smith of New Jersey, Allen Bryant and Bruce Bryant both of Bakersfield, California; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a number of nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

Services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 3, 2017, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. James Wallace officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 pm – 8 pm, Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Hope, Arkansas.
