Obituary for Sue Sprayberry Baker

Sue Sprayberry Baker, age 71, of Bloomburg, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 18, 2018, in an Atlanta, Texas nursing home.

Sue was born November 1, 1946, in Vivian, Louisiana, to Felix and Nora Patrick. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. Sue loved to fish, cook, garden, quilt, sew, pick peaches which she canned, and spend time with her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Homer Holloway, Dickie Holloway, Luke Weems; and sister, Nancy Holloway.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Baker of Bloomburg, Texas; son, Bobby Sprayberry, Jr. of Rodessa, Louisiana; four daughters, Pennie Terry and husband Allen of Vivian, Louisiana, Susan Ragland and husband Virgil of Linden, Texas, Mary Sue Mayville of McLeod, Texas, Yvvonne Ashlock of Alvord, Texas; five brothers, Joe Holloway, Ronnie Patrick, Aaron Patrick, Ricky Patrick, James Weems; two sisters, Norma Flannigan, Joanne Moore; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and a number of other nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

Services will be 10:00 am, Friday, March 23, 2018, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Donnie Bradley officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 pm – 8 pm, Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Brown Cemetery, Miller County, Arkansas.
