Obituary for Ronald E. Duke

Ronald E. Duke age 80, of Atlanta, Texas went to be with the Lord Friday, October 20, 2017 at his residence.

Ronald was born September 13, 1937 in Waco, Texas to Joe and Ruth Duke. He was retired from Pine Lodge Nursing Home; was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Texarkana and former member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta. In his younger years he enjoyed spending time coaching Little League Baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Pritchard Duke of Atlanta, Texas; two daughters, Dana Brooks of Texarkana, Texas, Jessica Duke Mooneyham and husband DJ of Nash, Texas; a brother, Rodger Duke and wife Barbara of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, Daniel Wheaton and wife Kristin, Ty Mooneyham, Cameron Mooneyham, Ryland Mooneyham, Garrett Durmon; three great-grandchildren, Ally Robinson, Breeley Wright, Bronx Wheaton; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Wallace Edgar officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
