Obituary for Orville Brown

Orville Brown age 89, of Atlanta, Texas went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 4, 2018 in a local Nursing Home.

Orville was born August 9, 1928 in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin to Henry and Rosetta Brown. He was the retired owner of Brown’s Appliance, a member of Smyrna Baptist Church, and served in the United States Army during World War II. He enjoyed spending time reading, watching westerns, and tinkering. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Brown; son, Jimmy Brown; two brothers, Rueben Brown, Donald Brown; and a sister, Dorothy Reitz.

He is survived by his daughter, Debra Bylander and husband Arvid of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin; son Dennis Brown; three brothers, Henry Brown, Fred Brown and Franklin Brown all of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin; a sister, Lois Jewson of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Gene Parker officiating.
