Obituary for Mildred G. Knox

Mildred G. Knox, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 17, 2017, in Atlanta, Texas.

Mildred was born February 26, 1922, in Cass County, Texas to Perry and Bertha Green. She was a member of Queen City First Baptist and a special needs Sunday school teacher in Killeen for many years. She loved to cook and enjoyed listening to gospel music, especially the Gaither’s. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Knox; son John Tom Knox; great grandson, Abel Spencer; and sister, Eva Mason.


She is survived by her son, Michael Knox and wife Lori of Atlanta, Texas; daughter, Pam Moser and husband David of Red Oak, Texas; three grandchildren, Samuel Knox, Joshua Moser, Amanda Spencer; four great grandchildren, Megan Knox, Michael Knox, Axel Spencer, Brooks Moser; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Jim Looby officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December, 20, 2017, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.
