Obituary for Annie Lorene Kinney

Annie Lorene Kinney, age 96, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 8, 2018, in an Atlanta, Texas nursing home.

Annie was born November 14, 1921 in Doddridge, Arkansas, to Sam and Minnie Plum. She married Scott Thompson Kinney, April 19, 1936, and remained so until his death in 1994. She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church, and a beloved employee of Beako Manufacturing for twenty years. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Scott Kinney; daughter, Barbara Jean Berry; her parents and her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Alice Lee and husband Melvin of Bossier City, Louisiana; son, Albert “Chuck” Kinney of Bossier City, Louisiana; son in law, Bobby Joe Berry of Mesquite, Texas; son, Robert Kinney of Greenville, Texas; daughter, Teresa Bell and husband Don of Arlington, Texas; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and a number of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 11, 2018, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. James Wallace officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 pm – 8 pm, Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Springdale Cemetery.
